I guess it depends on what Cowherd means by “disappear”. Miami football has disappeared from a competitive standpoint, but they’re still entertaining for other reasons. Nebraska or Syracuse might be another contender.
We know what Cowherd is doing. He is jerking off all of the SEC SEC SEC dorks (especially the UK, Vandy, Tennessee, etc. types) that only have that to hang on since their teams suck at the foosball. However, I think his idea is valid in that the OU, Texas fans are not used to having 3-4 loss teams year in-year out and the SEC is tougher than the Big XII. Well, Texas fans might be more used to it. This is why the Super Conference or USC, Bama, Ohio State, Clemson types will not work. CFB is lived because there isn't a chance for the 2008 NY Giants to be national champions.

Texas fans have been used to it for most of the last 45 years.

I watched the video and Cowhored named Nebraska as the first to disappear. So, mental note to watch before asking stupid questions in the future. I do agree that Oklahoma could get Nebraska’d in the SEC.

Oklahoma is built for the SEC and will do whatever is necessary to be competitive. I think Texas is far more likely to disappear....or disappear more than they already have.

Well we're certainly building a roster to compete in the SEC. Coach V has revived OU's defensive recruiting that has not been seen since the mid-2000s. However, we're still a few years away from having a roster that's equivalent to Georgia's. But we are in much better shape going into that conference now than we were under Riley.

Yea to take it to a Euro setting where we can remove personal biases...

Champions League is phenomenal because every single team in it can go back home and beat the snot out of the local pub teams in their national leagues.
If you lose, it's an L but they can still win at home. If you win, it's phenomenal.

If you took all those perennial alsorans... like Celtic, Ajax, Porto, Salzburg, Copenhagen, etc and actually made a league with them and the Barcas, Bayern, PSG, etc... it would be terrible for everyone involved.
Barca flopped out of the groups last year - doesn't matter they can still go beat up on everyone back in Spain, win a cup or the league there for 90% of their season.

But i also don't think that applies here. USC' last PAC championships were 2008 and 2017.
I'm not even going to look up UCLA.

Texas is in for a rude awakening only because they ran everything in the Little10. And that isn't going to work in the SEC.

Oklahoma is more difficult. Their situation is comparable to Corn in some ways, but not because of changing conferences.
Rather, demographics.
Who wants to go to Oklahoma, Kansas, Nebraska? I don't mean the schools. I mean the states.
Oklahoma has always been smart to hitch their wagon to Texas' backyard for talent. Being in a separate conference from the more successful SEC schools acted as a firewall so they just had to beat Austin.
Im not sure that will work with them joining SEC now. LSU may be a joke today, but OU hasn't won a title in since 2000.
They're the Jim Kelly Bills of CFB. And i dont think it gets easier for them now.
