Did anyone catch the play where Boren pulled around to the right side of the field and was blocking for TP 10 - 15 yards upfield?

Reminded me of a pic from spring practice that I think I saw here... Justin leading the way for TP.

Damn glad he's playing for the good guys!

Between Boren who will want to crush scUM added to the Seniors, Cordle and the Defensive trio of Worthington, Spitler and Coleman, I don't expect any letdown this week.

I think the O-line may play their best game of the year, with Justin leading the way, glad he followed his head, and his heart and came home.

While in the mass of humanity... Justin walked by and I gave him a high five said good job.... he said in a high pitch voice "Thanks, man"... he was one of the nicest players on the team.... I about crapped my pants. Now get that mean streak rolling again and make RR crap his pants.

sweet I wonder if I was near you because he was one of the few players I got to tap on the shoulder pads. But I did get pancaked by that steam roller known as tressel :biggrin:

I saw him one campus once after a game walking towards the towers with his dad. Didn't try to rush the field though. Up too high and by the time I would have got there only students and security guarding the posts remained.

Once a proud and mighty football program, Michigan has taken a standing eight count. The Wolverines are on the verge of a second straight losing season.

Without a win against No. 8 Ohio State on Saturday, Michigan Head Coach Rich Rodriguez will spend a second bowl season watching the games on TV.

Things got worse Monday. University of Michigan officials said the football program failed to file mandatory monthly forms that track how much time players spend practicing. That?s the crux of a current NCAA investigation after some Wolverine players said Rodridguez worked them more than NCAA rules allowed.

Given all the turmoil and transition, it?s easy to see why Justin Boren made the unusual decision to leave Michigan and transfer to Ohio State. Boren went from Wolverine to Buckeye shortly after Rodriguez was hired in December 2007.

When Boren goes back into Michigan Stadium on Saturday as a starting offensive lineman for the Buckeyes, he might as well have a bull?s-eye on his back.

Boren wasn?t among the handful of players Head Coach Jim Tressel made available to reporters Monday. Boren will not speak to the media until after the game, if then.

?It?s going to be wild for him,? said fellow Buckeye lineman Jim Cordle. ?We were joking about making sure there are metal detectors so someone doesn?t try to snipe him.?

It is believed to be the first time in OSU-Michigan history one player will start for both teams.

Several teammates spoke for Boren. What would it be like if Kurt Coleman looked across the line of scrimmage and saw a former Buckeye teammate now wearing Michigan maize and blue?

?That would be a little motivation,? Coleman said. ?I definitely would want to get him back for leaving us and basically being a traitor.?

Boren, whose father played at Michigan, now is playing with his younger brother, Zach. Coleman, perhaps realizing that some might construe him as calling his teammate a traitor, backed up Boren.

Coleman and Boren have talked about the lineman?s reasons for leaving and about what he?ll be facing going back.

?I think he?s going to have a lot of internal things going on for himself,? Coleman said. ?He left that school for a reason. So I think he?s going to have extra motivation to go out there and get back at them.

?I don?t want to get too in depth about his situation, but at the time he said it wasn?t the right fit for him with the change of coaching staff. He felt like it was a better fit for him to leave and join his brother at Ohio State.?

Ann Arbor will not be a kind place for Boren on Saturday. His former teammates haven?t forgotten.

Michigan?s defense this season has been contained by most. The Wolverines are giving up 31.3 points a game.
