OL Michael Jordan (Green Bay Packers)

If he does come back, I think the OL could be pretty damn good. Not sure on depth, but Munford-Jordan-Myers-Davis-petit_frere with Bowen being someone who can spell players at either RG or RT? That's pretty damn good. Looking at the depth chart though...am a little concerned about depth behind those 6. Alabi has shown enough where be can fill in if needed, but no other guy has emerged. Maybe a Wray or Matt Jones develop into someone who can add depth inside. Just not that you'd want a true freshman, but possibly Miller as well.
Agreed. I think we will be in great shape with good depth but definitely need to make the OL a priority in 2020.

You have to figure our best 5 will play. Which means Jordan, Frere, Davis, Bowen, Munford.

Left out Alabi and Meyer. Not to mention some of our redshirt kids. We will be fine on the OL but have to get after recruiting hard in 2020.

OL and DB are big time priorities.
I'm guessing that if Myers is close to that top 5 they'd prefer to move Jordan back to guard. But yes, if he isn't they'd have to keep him there and start Bowen. But if Bowen doesn't start, I'd actually like them to do what we never see at OSU but do at other places, and that is roll him in throughout the game. Have him spell Davis and Frere and not just mop up duty.

Even with the low snaps early, he was still easily the most consistent player on the offensive line. Really been impressed with his composure since day one.

I agree that he for sure filled a huge void at Center going into the season and played very well at times, even though not his primary position. But I'll also add that I think a lot of the false start penalties on the OL were on him getting the ball back so slow/late bc it wasn't just Prince it was spread out across the entire line this year. And the low snaps were a huge issue early on in the season; disrupting RPO's, timing and quick 3-step drop routes. It got much better later in the season. I think he is still suited best, and could be dominant back at guard if someone can step up and take the reigns at Center next year.

Agreed, his biggest downside was the slow snaps and low snaps. With a year under his belt that shouldn't be much of a problem in 2019. It will be interesting to see how it all plays out next year. Will we need Bowen at RT? Can Myers take the next step? Does someone else make a move?
