Game Thread Orange Bowl: tOSU vs Clemson, Jan 3, 8:30 ET, ESPN

I'm not ready to close the door on Brax. He's been the victim of questionable play calling and an unquestionably [Mark May]ty defense. Frustrations running high, but he didn't lose this game or the Big CG.

Get him some WRs who can get open and teach him to trust them. In the second half of the season Evan Spencer and Devin Smith did more blocking than Thread Davis ever imagined he would have had to do under Jim Tressel.

We have said this every year since TP's first year. I'm beginning to get sick of the sentiment.
Yes I agree, but TP didn't have a senior year either. When you have a kid like Braxton or TP whose so physically dominant in HS that they don't have to rely on their arms as much you need to develop them even more. I truly think that if he puts in the work over the summer he can be elite. Maybe RGIII lite

Don't let this one hang on your shoulders too long. I'm calling it a night. I'm not looking for a silver lining when I say that maybe the loss will be a better catalyst for positive change than a narrow win would have been. I don't care what it costs, we have to place an epic DC. I want to believe Urban is going to be too demanding and too much a perfectionist to stand pat. This is going to be a very interesting offseason.

Good basketball ahead!

Night, all.

On the silver linings front. Some of the youngsters looked good out there. Reeves had his best game. Bell showed some promise. Marcus is a stud. Those are Urb's guys.

I know we keep coming back to the defense as the problem but for those questioning the offensive play calling here is something to think about. If your offense scores 35 points then in most situations you should be able to win the game. Yes, there were times when I could have called better plays but for the most part it worked.

Here is too a better finish next year.

I can't wait until we have a receiver with some height on the field, Greene...Our TEs seem to get open but we don't throw much to them.

Are you suggesting Braxton threw to Philly Brown too much? Hogwash--- er ... nevermind.
