That whole series beginning with the Defensive stand - use of time-outs - clock management and subsequent pass plays into an on-rushing FSU D was a textbook example of how to get the very most out of such a small amount of time.

I thought for sure that was a safety. Even after the review. I really feel that it was a horrible call. The player got driven back 2 yards into the endzone after getting 1 inch out of it. I hate forward progress, they give it way too much. I'm okay if it's 5 D guys on 1 ball carrier pushing a guy back a while. But if it's 1 on 1 and the offender gets driven back that quickly, the yardage needs to go along with that.
