OSU vs. Michigan in Concert & a Fundraiser for Clarity

I'll echo everyone else's comments - great show last night!

Thanks so much for putting this together. Ryn said it well - I had chills a couple times, too. And I can't wait to see it again next year with added clips from the 2006 Buckeye victory!

Thanks to everyone who came out to the Char Bar, too. I had a wonderful time. All in all, it was a great start to the weekend.

Thanks

To all who attended the concert, thanks! 'Sorry I didn't get to meet you folks while I was there. Believe it or not, I received the final raw footage clips on the Tuesday before the concert, and I was still editing video at 6:00pm on the evening of the concert, so I was indisposed to say the least.

I'm hopeful that we can do this type of concert again next year, and I look forward to improving the video/orchestra pieces, as well as integrating the band and glee club more with the orchestra. (Neither group was available to rehearse with the orchestra this year, so the first time we were able to play together was in the concert. Not ideal, by any means.) With more time and more footage, I also want to expand the Tradition piece, particularly focusing on Woody. This year, I just didn't have the footage necessary to do that. :(

Something humorous that I just have to share: A friend of mine sent pictures of my buckeye-helmet 350Z to the CEO of Nissan America, and apparently he got a kick out of it. If we do this concert next year, I want to expand the "Smith for Heisman" section and include clips of Nissan's Heisman commercials with the huge Buckeye nut destroying everything in its path. Oh, the music that comes to mind! Yuk, yuk.

Once again, thanks, and I hope to meet you guys someday soon. 'Til then, take good care, and GO BUCKS!
