OSU Wrestling (2008 and 2009 NCAA Runners-up)

Next question--where the heck has JD Bergman gone? After placing 3rd at Nationals as a freshman, he went out for punter on the football team, and his wrestling performance plummeted. Has he even wrestled at all this year?

On another note, it's nice to see tOSU getting some good performances out of the lighter weights for a change.

ps, hey Chief, today is Ted's 17th birthday. Cut him some slack. Happy B'day Ted.

Thanks King. Chief, myself, and a handful of others on this board like to keep up with tOSU wrestling. But he's in Indiana and I'm in North Carolina. Sounds like you are much closer to the action. Please, keep us informed.

Mitch Clark was the first wrestler in NCAA history to win by technical fall in the first period of the NCAA finals. He was a big part of OSU landing superstud Lance Palmer, the first St. Ed's wrestler to accept a scholarship to OSU since 1979.

The King would like to see either Clark or Rowlands end up coaching The Bucks whenever Russ hangs it up.

Chief--Blake Maurer was back in the line-up this weekend. Won two matches against Virginia and Virginia Tech.

King--glad to see that Russ has turned recruiting N'East Ohio over to Mitch Clark, and very glad to see the ice has been broken with St Eds. It only takes one.

Also missing men's volleyball (we're top 10 currently).

Our men's volleyball, men's hockey, wrestling, and baseball teams should bring us a lot of points...maybe golf, too (not familiar with how strong our golf team is this year).

Sorry but your wrestling team is not doing so well. But the future of OSU wrestling looks good as there are a few really good young wrestlers on your team.

PS- ND's lead in the Directors Cup will be short lived....
