Let's get our minds off '07, so make your predictions for OSU's record in '08. I'll get it started:

YSU -- W
Ohio -- W
@USC -- L
Troy -- W
Minnesota -- W
@Wisconsin -- L
Purdue -- W
@Michigan St. -- W
Penn St. -- W
@Northwestern -- W
@Illinois -- W
scUM -- W

My prediction: 10-2. Road trips to Illinois, MSU, and Wisky will all be tough, but I don't see OSU losing to Illinois and MSU with their losing starters (while Wisky doesn't lose much). Then again, I thought OSU would lose 3-4 regular season games this year, so maybe that means we'll go undefeated next year!
 
Hoping for an undefeated season and Oklahoma in the NCG :biggrin:

I expect us to drop at least 1 conference game to somebody we dont expect. I don't think USC is going to be as difficult as many believe. Booty wasn't great but did you see Sanchez when Booty was out?

What is this one loss crap? We will be loaded again next year and USC is a good way to start gaining national respect back. I so wish most of our juniors come back (come back Boone & one of the defensive stars). And I think they will. Just a gut feeling they see USC on the schedule next year and a way to redeem themselves.

If 2 of the big 4 come back I see us being a pain to the national pundits thinking "Oh great, OSU is back in the title game" or better yet I want to see how bad they try to not let us back in if we are undefeated with a victory over the media darling USC.

Everyone will be against us again next year and I want them to eat a whole heaping of crow!

If we win at USC and are undefeated there is nothing the media can do to keep us out of the title game.

However, if our only loss is at USC then we might get snubbed.

So, in other words, can we get that '08 USC game thread started?

The '08 USC game is going to be huge. If we lose that, the national perception of our team and conference will go straight to hell.

And anyway, I personally just think the Big 10 will be tougher next year. Wisconsin will still be strong. Michigan State will be stronger. Illinois will be stronger. Penn State may be stronger (They won't have Morielli, their wideouts will be Seniors, and they always fill holes at LB), and Michigan is a wild card.
