OT Paris Johnson Jr. (All-American, Arizona Cardinals)

Nothing to clarify. Just wanted to get some conversation going on this dude. The more I think of it, the season could very well go as far as he goes in his development.

The O Line in general is by far the biggest concern of mine. Need to improve our play AND stay healthy.
I agree. But I’m going to be completely honest. I’m not so sure that Donovan Jackson isn’t the best LT prospect on the team. I know he doesn’t have ideal size, but I just think his skill set is superior to anyone else. I saw a quote from Kevin Wilson where he said Jackson reminded him of Trent Williams, who he coached at Oklahoma. Says a lot!

But to bring it back to PJJ, I think he will be just fine. Sawyer may abuse every Tackle he sees this year. Iron sharpens iron.

Paris could go a long way in the Buckeyes, and Coach Frye's chances to recruit elite tackle prospects.

If Paris does a great job, dominates and ends up a first round draft choice, it will give Frye something to tout in his recruiting efforts

That's a solid point. Heading into this year, I thought NPF was a first round pick and Munford wasn't far off. Seems to have happened a lot recently. Perception is reality to kids watching the draft when Bama has a first rounder every year. We've got plenty guys into the league, but hopefully under Frye the draft selections improve. PJJ seems the most likely to start that trend and I think he'll be much better at tackle, especially with the experience from last year under his belt.

I think the contract's our guys sign in the league will also help with recruiting as well.
