Went to Nags Head several times as a kid with the family. VERY BORING!

Hard for me to imagine that.

Different folks, different strokes. I want to puke when I see Dollywood.

What to do in Nags Head? well for one just take in the beauty. You can hop in your car and in 10 minutes be on a beach with no one else in sight. You can check out the dunes and the salt marshes. Visit the lighthouse. The kids will amuse themselves on the beach while you have time to sit and think and watch them play... free from adult interference... free from TV and the internet... free to think for themselves and set their imaginations loose.

If you're looking for minature golf, go cart tracks, fast food, sports bars there are places far more conducive to such, in fact you may soon regret you chose the Outerbanks. But if you want a chance to see a natural beach you have chosen well.

Two side trips you might want to consider giving time to: the Lost Colony and Fort Fisher. Both do an excellent job of bringing history to life.

The sears family will be vacationing in the Outer Banks (Nags Head) next week.

I need the goods on what to do, where to eat, etc.

Just moved close to this area recently....I would love to hear what you learn about the area, I can't wait for my wife to get here and go exploring....

One thing I have learned is that June 1 starts HURRICANE season....

You'd love Destin, Florida.
