Oversigning (capacity 25, everyone welcome! maybe)

Oh sure - if you are going to use "facts" to try to win an argument. :paranoid:

Josh, 37 signees is not an SEC thing. It is crazy world stuff. What was the average difference in class if I may ask? I'd also love to see the average attrition rate, as that would drive the former.

I'm working off the top of my head but the SEC blows the Big 10 out of the water on non-qualifiers and placing people in prep schools/Jucos

:roll2: So Michigan's is the typical Big 10 approach to recruiting?

Ole Miss is simply being a Nutt led Old Miss, nothing more, nothing less.
Uh, let's see this year's stats- South Carolina-29 commits, Alabama 28 commits, Arkansas 31 commits, MSU-28 commits, Auburn 28 commits, Kentucky 28 commits- yeah, I'd say Ole Miss has a typical SEC approach, even if they are on the cutting edge.......

If by 34, you mean 25.....

I'm sorry.....I though 34 was the new 25... like 37 is apparently the new 28 :paranoid:

This is just out of my curiosity but do the Gators run the Auburn/Bammer put people up at Hargrave, Fork Union, Milford route at all?
Not so much now. We have, but it does not fit with Urban's emphasis on grades. We like all qualifiers and early entrants get special emphasis.
Now, if we could get a Dorsey or Thomas stud game changing DT, would we send him there an hope to bring him back???

Yeah, to be honest.

Just noted Ole Miss was pipped at the post by Navy - who have 38 commits

don't Big 10 programs need special permission from the conference to sign over 25 players?? A plan on how all the signees will fit under the scholarship limit??

Navy is a different beast if I remember correctly they don't do LOI's. Some of those guys will enroll and not play football and some will end up at Naval Prep.

Keep that quite Bill
