Peach Bowl: #1 Georgia vs #4 tOSU, Sat 12/31 8 ET on ESPN

Outscored 18-3 after Harrison Jr got knocked out of the game.

No Henderson, no Williams, no JSN, no Harrison, no Stover.

I absolutely believe OSU is the best team in the country fully loaded. Unfortunately we never even got one full game of 2022 OSUs healthy opening night roster.
Fuck injuries man. And supposedly Pryor was a beast in camp. Instead we got this this shit. If Marv gets hurt next year after. After JSN, Bosa, etc I'm taking up soe voodoo shit or something

Anyone know what was up with Gee Scott not playing? Seems curious to me seeing as he was the backup pass catching TE entire year….

To pick on Day a bit…..this game is exactly why you let the backups play hard in blowouts. They need the game reps. Really no reason that Royer only caught his first pass tonight….that’s absurd. These kids need to get worked into games and certainly if it’s a blowout, it isn’t time to be Mr. Nice Guy…..it’s their job to stop us and our guys need the reps for this exact situation. It’s frustrated me a bit for a while…especially when I see guys like Kirby Smart and Nick Saban lose their shit late in the 4th quarter in games they’re up 50 points because guys aren’t executing properly. Those live reps add up…..I hope Day gets a little nastier next year and lets the backups rip. I preferred his emotion tonight as well to be honest…..

He had one eye on the Heisman trophy.

This.

I'm seeing a lot of "we were supposed to get blown out" (not just here), and rationalizing this loss. Fuck that. This is Ohio State and they just blew a 14 point fourth quarter lead because the defense is ass and the HC let off the gas on offense then hung his kicker out to dry at the end. This compounded with getting boat raced by a team that just lost to TCU does not sit right with me. At all.
Yep. Even Van Pelt said it in the ESECPN postgame that this is Ohio State, we don't claim "moral victories". We come to win fucking championships. We didn't do that today. Fuck that.

You need to specify everyone thought you mean Julian dude

O u meant Parker Fleming I thought u were talking bout Julian.lol

love you guys but I’ve been on the fire Parker bandwagon for two years now. So I really shouldn’t need to be specific. I typically try not to bash players. Coach on the other hand

I'm not sure I'd blame parker either. Other then a bad snap by the backup long snapper on the penultimate play and maybe some puts we should have punted away from their returner. Special teams didn't do good or bad the were not the difference or a boost.

Special teams were a wash. OSU missed a FG, UGA missed two. There were no field flipping returns, botched plays, or turnovers by either team either in the kick game.

Ultimately the biggest play in the special teams game never even happened, because apparently the ref awarded Kirby a TO before OSU had executed it.

I still call bullshit on that ref didn't react till the ball was hiked. Though if I'm Day I line up and go for it on O after they awarded that. But He would have been killed by the fans if they did that and didn't make it

I want to know the Rule on injury timeouts though. Not sure it would have mattered but I thought there wasn't a fucking a choice for Georgia there. If you have the timeout you are forced to use it. You don't get to just say nah man I take the 10 second run off unless you are on O.
