Game Thread Penn State at tOSU, Oct 26, 8 ET, ABC

Too lazy to go back and look... but has anybody pointed out that when PSU beat Ohio State in Columbus in 2011 and 2008 OSU was playing freshmen quarterbacks who didn't even begin the season as starters? (Miller, Pryor). Just sayin' OSU 45 PSU 24

I'm going to say that this is the confluence of three things which are bound to happen this season at some point and lead up to the fourth.

Our DBs start playing up to their potential
Our DL has the monster game that we've been expecting
Hackensack has the freshman shitting of the bed game to which all true freshman qbs are pone.
Urban goes for style points on prime time national tv

49-10

Will teams now use the "Iowa" model to game us? Keep the offense off the field and grind away? That will work until we get a lead on such teams and they have to play catch up. Who, other than MSU could stop this offense? Teams will score. We'll score more and change the dynamic. If a team could stay patient and not get too far behind, they could beat us.

I'm picking the 2013 Buckeyes to go 12-2. Ohio State should win its first eleven games this year ... but I'm betting that they won't. I don't know who the culprit will be, but some lowly opponent will unexpectedly rise up and end the Buckeyes' winning streak.
I wrote the above in the 2013 Prediction thread. At the time, I had Penn State in mind as the "lowly opponent". I don't know why, but I don't have a very good feeling about this game. This is Penn State's bowl game, and at some point the Buckeyes will play bad enough to lose and the other team will take advantage.

Ohio State is 13-7 against Penn State in Big Ten play, but the Buckeyes have a habit of losing ugly games in this series (2001, 2005, 2008, 2011). Tonight could be another one of those games.
