Penn State Cult (Joe Knew)

Agree completely. Franklin is from Pennsylvania. At his first press conference, he kissed Joesus' pedophile-protecting ass. Franklin also talked several times about having to go to D2 East Stroudsgburg (Pa.) because he wasn't a good enough player to play at PSU.

Not that it is impossible, but it seems really hard to believe that a Pennsylvania native would leave PSU when he has them in good shape going forward.
It’s not THIS strong. aTm just isn’t going to be the one to pull him away.

Steelers?
He’s over playing the Pennsylvania angle because the Penn State fans eat it up, and because it’s what recruits need to hear. If a big job opens up in a few years, all these “I’m loyal to the state I’m from” excuses go away. That doesn’t mean he’s going to leave....but both sides are full of shit right now. aTm is not a real draw, and he’s not as loyal to the state as he claims.

I don't know why I find this funny.

They're arguing over whether Ohio State is good, or the competition (including Nebraska) has just been bad, lately. It's a fair argument, in my opinion. We aren't exactly playing teams that are hopeful to be in the playoffs this year. Some OSU fan says that he'd call Penn State the favorite against Ohio State at this point. I don't know if he's just pandering so he's allowed to continue to post. The response:

Nice try. I would make O$U 17.5 pt favorites

3 pts for Home Field
14.5 for B1G officiating bias (PSU is still “hated”..in an enviable sense)

Hated in an enviable sense? The officials envy Penn State's position? I don't understand. Maybe the referees are out to ensure that Ohio State and Michigan are still the top of the conference, and they envy the fact the Penn State won it last year?

Speaking of which... the referees are pretty bad. Since 2011, the Big Ten Champions have been Wisconsin, Wisconsin, Michigan State, Ohio State, Michigan State, and Penn State. If we were all doing about 1/6 of our jobs, we wouldn't have a job, anymore. Also, what do Wisconsin and Michigan State fans say about the refs? Are they "referines" to them? What do Nebraska fans say? Minnesota and Northwestern fans? Is it just Penn State fans who think the refs are out to ensure the dominance by the "Big 2"?

same thing I always say to "it's fixed" people...if you care about the outcome of a game that you know to be fixed then you are well and truly the dumbest sonofabitch on the face of the earth.

The officials will not be an excuse in this game. They will argue that Ohio State had an off week and that is why they lost by three touchdowns, neglecting of course that Ohio State came into the game last year gassed after a double overtime night game against the most physical team in the B1G.

I just hope TSUN takes them into overtime. I really want to see them beaten soundly.

Could this be the end of BWI? Or maybe the end of the world?

https://bwi.forums.rivals.com/threads/ohio-st-looking-great.187615/page-3

I already posted this thread, I believe. But check out near the bottom of Page 3.

Only concerning thing is OSU now has a bye and 2 weeks to prepare for us. Same as last year just reversed
And the game is being played in Columbus instead of Happy Valley.
Not quite the same as last year. PSU has a home game against a very over rated scUM team while OSU has their bye. Last year OSU had a double OT slug fest against Wisconsin on the road while PSU had the bye.. That may have been one of the most physical games that I have ever seen.
Yep. Then there's the commute back -- OSU's players didn't get to their rooms until 5am Sunday morning so coaches had to cancel practice that day so guys could sleep. Night road games, especially overtime ones against physical opponents, are a bitch.

They're actually making excuses for Ohio State losing last year.

Actually, maybe they're preparing to make excuses for a potential loss for them in 2 weeks. Maybe the back-up plan, in case the referees aren't needed to help Ohio State win?
