The cult is a having a blast making fun of Schiano's situation. They are too dumb to understand that this basically means the world outside their insular cult thinks anyone associated with Penn State football for the last 40 years KNEW about Jerry molesting kids. By default this includes Paterno himself. These people are so effing stupid.

Ok, let me get this straight. Schiano is linked to the scandal by a heresay comment that McQueary gave that said something along the lines of "someone told me that someone told them that Schiano told them what he saw". And this is what the cult is celebrating? So, McQueary's testimony is only credible when it comes to this one minute piece of heresay (that doesn't directly involve Joesus)? Everything else he's said is fabricated bullshit? Got it.

I can't believe I'm surprised by this, but I am. You'd think having to deal with the cult on a daily basis would give me a better read on things, but I figured clearly they would see this as a bad thing. Clearly they couldn't find a way to be completely on the wrong side of something like this. Clearly, I underestimated the cult yet again.

edit: I'm only a few pages into that thread, but their reactions are actually more of what I expected so far.

I was hoping he'd get the job. I've never been comfortable with Schiano and Johnson on the staff. The ginger will always be a scumbag for taking the job instead of calling the cops, but when he finally did start talking everything has so far shown to be accurate and I just don't see any upside or play in it for the ginger to make up the Schiano story.

There are other coaching trees out there, are there not, that don't grow from the Paterno branch?

I have no idea what Schiano or Johnson may or may not have known about, but it would be nice if we could find competent coaches who are in no respect tainted from connection to that open sewer.

I don't know what this stupid thread is about. But they quickly start whining about how Ohio State and Michigan unfairly get to play each other the last game of the year.
I think that tOSU and Michigan should not have a sacred date for their annual game... the schedule should rotate with Penn State getting the chance to play all of their division opponents on the last Saturday. This is a holdover from the big two and little eight, but now there are 12 other teams that should be able to overcome the resistance from the big two and the big ten office.

They look at Ohio State and see a smoking hot girl that's still smart, funny, and can talk sports and cars with the best of them. Then they look at scUM and see this fat balding guy who, while he may have been something in the past, is now way out of our league. They think "My hairline may be receding, and sure I'm in the sex offender database, but I'm way better looking than that guy."

But they just don't understand what we have.

They've been whining about this shit for years. It was part of their whole delusional view that they would dominate the conference and both Ohio State AND Michigan would circle the pedster game as their big game of the year. These freaks literally believed that The Game would become just another IlliniBuck or Brown Jug game.

Petty jealousy, like an 8 year old that didn't get the Lego set he wanted for Christmas. And let's investigate why they don't have a "Game" with a major rival on the last weekend of the year. Oh yeah, JoePed loaded his schedule with a bunch of patsies that he could beat every year, so he could run up the win total. I say the Big Ten should let them play Temple on the last weekend every year. That would be an epic contest that would attract unbelievable national attention.
