Penn State Cult (Joe Knew)

Before Nebraska joined, I managed to see a Buckeye victory in every Big Ten stadium within a 3-year period. I researched back to the time when the league had 10 teams, and no other fan base would have been able to witness such a collection of victories within any 3-year period, since no other team ever got the full set of road wins in that timeframe. I have since been to a win in Lincoln, and now have Rutgers and Maryland on my agenda.

One visit each is all I needed in Ann Arbor and un-Happy Valley, and I'll never return to either stadium.

What time period was that? I couldn't find any 3-year time period like that for OSU either.

OSU road wins

2007
Minnesota
Purdue
Penn State
tsun

2006
Iowa
MSU
Northwestern
Illinois

2005
Indiana
Minny
tsun

I believe that is everyone that was in the B1G before Nebraska and Maryland joined. I count 11 with tsun being the repeat so it must be.

EDIT: my bad, missing Wisky

I'd have to dig to look at any older time frames, not sure what period BB73 was referring to.

It was within 3 calendar years, but not within 3 seasons.

2005 - Oct. 22nd at Indiana
2006 - at Iowa, Sparty, Illinois, and NW'ern
2007 - at Minny, Purdue, Penn St, and TTUN
2008 - Oct. 4th at Wiscy

So it fell within a 3-year period with a couple of weeks to spare!

Thanks much for the answer. I am a dork, I have an Excel sheet with every college football result from 1950 forward in it. But I was querying against the 3 season view as opposed to a 3 calendar year view.

Definitely an impressive feat!
