Penn State Cult (Joe Knew)

I didn't know if this went into the Quinn Ewers thread or the Penn State Cult thread. Then I decided it has no new information on Quinn Ewers. It also has no new information on the cult, but it's still a "look at this silly boof" thread.
https://bwi.forums.rivals.com/threa...n-ewers-to-skip-his-sr-year-of-hs-and.300447/

Original poster is angry about two things: first that the kid figured out a way to get into Ohio State a year early. He thinks the kid got on campus without a degree and thinks this is going to destroy the universe. Second, that Kirk Herbstreit is supposed to step in and block this from happening. Ohio State or not, is that something that Herbstreit does?

The rest of the cult enjoys teasing him about the first point. No one seems to address the second one.
For those that follow BWI, that OP is Bushwood under his latest screen name. If he is ranting this bad already, he must be off his meds again and won't make it till the first game before they nuke him again.

Edit - There's another thread about Herbstreit crying about the state of college football. I doubt I'll ever look at it.
Original poster on that thread is BWI legend BushwoodCC, lol.

That's a riot. Kids have been reclassifying in basketball for years. A full year of reclassification in football is less common, but that's more a physical development decision -- not unprecedented. It's really not that hard to graduate early, or conclude your junior year of high school needing only one core credit (usually either the fourth math or fourth English credit, if not both).

- In most states, junior high honors credits translate to high school equivalent credits.
- In any state, high school credits can be earned at any time via correspondence courses which can be taken by mail or online. A full credit course only takes a day or two to complete if you dedicate an entire day to cranking one out.
- Universities offer options for non-diploma, home school, or GED holders to "test out" and/or enroll early with an undeclared major while waiting for the state board of education to issue a diploma.

The only thing unusual is that Quinn and his family made this decision the last week of July (at least as far as any of us are aware). In this instance, there may be a NCAA eligibility clearinghouse hurdle with any delays getting transcripts sent in and what-not, but that is outside of Ohio State's decision to accept a student or not.

I don't think you read that thread correctly. Clearly, tOSU and Ryan Day forced this kid to enroll early. They stole this kid's senior year and his prom and all the great things that go with them in order to circumvent the rules and get him on campus in time for fall camp. I don't know how many rules they broke in the process, but I'll bet it was a lot.

They also somehow forced a High School in another state to falsify records or something to get him on campus this year.

Here's the next installment of "you're disrespecting what we love, so you're an idiot."

https://bwi.forums.rivals.com/threads/espn-top-100-coaches-of-the-past-50-years.301254/

Some nerd posted that ESPN has its list of top 100 coaches in 50 years. I Don't know if it's college coaches or what. But that's not important. He says Joe Paterno comes in at 11.
Some other nerd says, "I saw something from 2 years ago that said he was #7. How did he drop 4 spots in 2 years?"
And another nerd says, "So those other 10 coaches have more wins than Paterno does?"
I must not be as smart as these guys...

If there are 10 better coaches than Joe in the past 50 years why didn't they win more games?
Because they didn't coach literally until they died?
