Penn State Cult (Joe Knew)

Yeah, but my point is that they (Penn State fans) are complaining that Ohio State got Penn State's recruits because of Penn State's sanctions. Kujikara says that Penn State fans think that they should have gotten Ohio State's recruits because of Ohio State's sanctions. And that may be correct. But Ohio State and Penn State aren't the only choices. If one team gets sanctioned, it isn't going to help another team a lot. It'll help 10-15 other teams a little.

Ohio State's sanctions didn't end up hurting Ohio State's recruiting, for whatever reason. I remember the same - that Ohio State was allowed to have 2 coaching staffs for a bit. But the reason for the recruiting bump isn't what I'm laughing about. I'm laughing that they think Ohio State's success is because of Penn State's slip.
The only kid I remember that may have come to OSU instead of PSU because of the PSU sanctions was Noah Spence, who both schools were recruiting hard and was considered a PSU lean at one point. I don't believe he ever actually committed to them then flipped. Otherwise, I'd like to know who all these players we got because of their scandal were.

I think Armani Reeves and Camren WIlliams may have both been PSU commits before Meyer was hired. Or maybe PSU was just favored? I don't remember for sure.

Ha - so anyone who likes to laugh at the cult fans for Penn State know that anytime they wanted out of the Big Ten, the ACC was going to welcome them with open arms. They thought they were a better fit in the ACC, anyway.
But, now, if Florida State leaves, then that conference is no better than the MAC.
I enjoy finding hypocrisy in things.

That’s what those cult fans want, a cupcake schedule. The used to have a MAC-like schedule before they joined the B1G. They always seem to forget to mention the drop in revenue.
