Sandusky Interviewer to VictimThreatens Victim #2 --Talk To Me, Or I'll Out You
Paterno Apologist Reveals Identity Of One Of Jerry Sandusky's Victims, Says He Was Hacked
Cliffnotes version:
Monday - Ziegler threatens to out victim #2.
Tuesday - Ziegler 'accidentally' posts a document with said victims' name listed multiple times. Then claims he was unable to take it down because unknown hackers picked that exact moment to attack his site.

Sure he tried to extort Victim #2, but he didn't really mean it. THe fact that he later went on to in fact out Victim #2 was an accident and completely coincidental.

How much of a laughing stock has Ziegler become? Even the cult faithful turned on him...

An Open Letter to John Ziegler
Ahh but John won't take that lying down!
His reponse:

The Real Truth Behind My Victim 2 Story

For the record Ziegler is such a loon that the Paterno family was rolling their eyes at him even before his 'accident'.

There are a few exceptions but by far those sick bastards on BWI and Audibles are defending Ziegler.

 not that they're full of themselves or anything. everything revolves around State College in their minds.

I found some of the ads...well, interesting last night:

First, in the pregame, Doug Gottlieb said he was on the CBS panel to "add a white man's perspective". (the panel was four black guys and Gottlieb). He is getting lit up today.

Then, I watched a Gatorade TV ad showing a basketball player that says he's "too short" a football player that says he's "too slow". Then, it showed a black guy playing hockey and he says "Wrong sport". I was pretty surprised.

Then, there are the NCAA ads discussing that they are in place, just to help the kids!. Saw this one during the Miami game. Then, the kid they use has flaming red hair; Mike McQueary reference? The cheerleaders are in blue and white with an "S" on their sweaters. (although they show a mascot at the end that was a chicken or something). Just thought it weird.

So, as I am watching the games, I am seeing controversy after controversy. Anyone else have the same reaction?

PSU LETTERMEN SAY TO OUST SUHEYReply SUCCESS WITH HONOR

We write to you about a matter of great importance to our University. As fellow Lettermen and alumni of the Pennsylvania State University we, like the rest of the Nation, were horrified by the actions of Jerry Sandusky. No words that we or anyone else can say will ever heal Sandusky's victims, their families or the damage that he caused other than to say our thoughts and prayers remain with them.

Also horrifying has been the ensuing damage inflicted to the standing of our University due in large part to the failure of the Board of Trustees. It is for this reason that we are compelled to step forward and oppose Paul Suhey's re-election to the Board. We take this action with the full understanding of the division this may cause amongst us. It is not a role we relish but, it is one we believe is necessary to prevent any further damage to our University.

At nearly every turn over the past sixteen months, the Board of Trustees has failed miserably to exercise the necessary leadership and responsibility to guide our University. No greater illustration is the Board's handling of Joe and the Freeh Report. While admittedly not knowing all of the facts, the Board unanimously rushed to judgment and fired Joe after 62 years of service to the University without ever once talking with him. Similarly, the Board to this very day has failed to discuss the substance of the Freeh report let alone question its evidentiary basis or lack thereof. The consequences of these actions have severely tarnished the reputation and legacy of Coach Paterno and have brought great harm upon the University, our

In the coming days, you will no doubt hear how Paul Suhey disagreed with these actions
but cannot tell "his side" for legal reasons or how knew Joe as "Uncle Joe". To this we say
nonsense! Actions speak louder than words and if Suhey disagreed with the actions the Board
was taking he had both an obligation and a duty to speak up and cast his vote accordingly. The
fact that he failed to do so only underscores the point that he is not fit to serve on the board a day
longer. The choice is for everyone to make but, for us it could not be any clearer ? retire Paul
Suhey, like he claimed to retire Joe, by not re-electing him.

Is it a ranking of quality or simply a statistical ranking of students/overall population?

Has to be ranking of students/overall population and not best college town. No way Ann Arbor is ten places ahead of Honolulu for "best college town"...

I was curious too and checked out the brochure from which that chart came. It is available here: news.umt.edu/2012/10/bestcollegetown.pdf.

The AEIR rates the towns based on, broadly, Academic Environment, Quality of Life, and Professional Opportunity.

And yet they somehow manage to rank Morgantown and Fargo higher than Charlottesville. That alone negates any worth whatsoever to the entire endeavor.
