Besides the perversion of college football by covering up a crime, the crime itself is more repulsive. I was not molested or harmed when I encountered a pedophile as a child. Looking back on the incident I realize how sick and brazen these people can be. They really are dangerous people. I don't think a parent can be too paranoid about keeping their children safe from being abducted. The article talks a lot about luring strategies but I'd also be concerned about how exposed my kid is going between safe places such as school, home and other supervised activities such as soccer practice.

If changing the way society thinks includes emasculation of convicted pedophiles, I'm all for it :) The biggest stud on BP probably hasn't slept with 150 women- or felt the need to. Tells you a lot about how messed up they are.

And how is raping a 12 year old boy more "acceptable" than the rape of a 12 year old girl? Both are violent crimes against innocents.
I have no doubt that if ol' Jer was caught raping a little girl that the outrage would demand his immediate arrest and to hell with protecting the football programs image.
