Franco took one too many to his dome. It wouldn't surprise me if he was MacAndrew from BWI.

Nope. That doesn't explain it. Franco was the biggest pussy in the history of the NFL. He always ran out of bounds or "slipped" before taking a hit.

That mother fucker was just plain born stupid.

Let's be fair. To say that Franco ran out of bounds a lot, making it impossible for him to have taken too many hard hits is really a stretch. I can numerous several times when he ran into the guys holding the chains, waterboys, referees, coaches, trainers, TV personnel, cheerleaders, and other people on the sideline. The possibility of him having sustained serious head trauma from hundreds of out-of-bounds collisions over the years seems very real to me.

Reps want PSU scholarships restored

Two Pennsylvania congressmen want the NCAA to restore football scholarships taken away from Penn State as part of sanctions for the child sex abuse scandal involving retired assistant coach Jerry Sandusky.
Reps. Richard Dent and Glenn Thompson wrote in a letter sent Monday to NCAA President Mark Emmert that taking away up to 40 scholarships harmed players who had nothing to do with the scandal.

Dent and Thompson wrote that denying student athletes access to higher education does nothing to account for Sandusky's crimes.

So now we're talking about theoretical players being harmed?

Umm guys, Ped State players likely have offers to other schools. It's not like they are missing out.

Typical. Theoretical players missing out on opportunities trump real kids harmed because they let that monster hang out on campus for decades.
