Amedeo Della Valle planning weekend visit to Ann Arbor

2012 guard Amedeo Della Valle confirmed to UM Hoops this afternoon that he?s planning to take an official visit to Michigan this weekend.

Della Valle plans to make his college decision by the end of April. He has visited Texas A&M officially and Arizona unofficially. A previously scheduled official visit to Arizona has been put on hold but Della Valle reported that plans are in the works to visit Ohio State in the near future.

I'd assume this puts us in the drivers seat with his upcoming visit.
He was supposed to visit that rathole this weekend and visit The Ohio State University next weekend. sCum must be hiding guards in their locker rooms if they have "no room" for Amedeo .

Guard Amedeo Della Valle, a senior at Findlay Prep in Henderson, Nev., had his scheduled visit to Michigan this weekend canceled after the Wolverines learned Trey Burke will return for next season and they signed an incoming freshman guard.

The 6-foot-4 Della Valle is hoping to visit Ohio State next week, but he said via text message today that the visit is not yet official. That sounds like the Buckeyes also could cancel his trip if someone better comes along.

Buford graduated. Sullinger left early. Siebert transferred. And now Weatherspoon might transfer. How would we account for those four scholarships such that we have better prospects at this point than Della Valle?

Amedeo Della Valle, 6-foot-4 guard from Italy who is a senior at Findlay Prep in Henderson, Nev. He is the only one of the three who would be eligible to play next season because the other two are transfers from Division I schools.

Della Valle is rated the 43rd-best shooting guard in the class by ESPNU and is a three-star prospect not in the top 100 overall. He also is considering Texas A&M, Arizona and Gonzaga. He begins an official visit to Ohio State on Tuesday and said he may make a decision after that.
