Police/Legal Blotter (stop breaking the law, asshole!)

Again, I think you guys are concentrating more on the accuser/victim aspect. We all could go a million different ways on that.
This is a football forum. Make it about that, and not the rape allegation itself. All the he said/she said is moot at this point in this story.

I must again point out....

Mike Riley, head coach of Nebraska Football, didn't know a damn thing about this until 11:00 am TUESDAY MORNING. This happened early SUNDAY morning.

Nobody (allegedly) contacted the Head Coach or the athletic department on this matter.

Allegedly....
Not the players.
Not the authorities.
Not the parents of said players.

Nobody who was involved in this contacted the university nor the guy who is in charge of these fellas.

Does anybody see where I'm going with this?
I didn't fall for the click bait so I am flying blind here, though that could be from the chronic masturbation induced from looking at Jax's avatar's ass. . .

If they aren't charged with anything or accused of anything, what duty is there to notify Mike Riley.

Obviously he has more than enough on his hands.

I was expressing my opinion. I never said this is 100% fact.

Well, my opinion is that the Nebraska football players gang-raped her and the only reason they aren't in jail is because the Lincoln police are covering up for them.

Just my opinion.

EDIT - I'll withhold judgement on guilt until I see what she was wearing, though.

Uh, let's see....

Coach comes into weekly press conference prepared to talk about game. Talks about game.

The very next day after practice....

First question: "Coach, what can you say about the incident that went down on Sunday?"

Coach Riley: "MERRR?!? WHA WHA WHA WHAT?"

If I leave the house late coming to pick the wife up from somewhere, I give her something called a Courtesy Call. You know, a heads up that I'm on the way.

Nobody can warn the head football coach about the police coming to the house Sunday?!? Come on - players at this age aren't kids, man. They're grown assed men, and they could have used some common sense here, even in passing.

But....who's saying they didn't....other than the guy who has a rape allegation following him around from his previous employer like an STD......

But I am assuming that you both love and respect your wife.

Your wife ain't 5-6 and is probably held in higher esteem than Coach Riley.

When you bang your wife, you probably aren't wishing Bo Pelini was there.

Just fucking with you. I really hope you guys do whack Riley this year and just move on. He is too old and not enough of a name to rebuild.

Edit: Does Riley have a rape accusation riding him around from the past? Did not know that.

Why is the name of the accuser relevant? Publishing their name only discourages reporting, and if it is later proven to be false, the name usually comes out anyway.
Bingo. They should openly publish the name AFTER it is determined to be a false accusation. Otherwise, who in the hell wants to be treated like the girls at FSU or Steubenville?

There is no such thing yet, but I believe in a right to anonymity until proven guilty by a jury of your peers.

I saw a statistic yesterday where the cops now steal more from citizens through asset seizure than robbers steal from citizens through theft.

In this world, merely being arrested really isn't enough to lose my anonymity in my view.

I imagine you aren't suggesting tribunal-like courts...which is what you would have if all court records were anonymous.
