I bought it, and replaced the cover. I am still pissed off however, because when I boot the game up, about 80% of the time I get some scUM intro with some group of scUM coeds of questionable dignity and feminine hygeine yelling out "G* B^$@!" Not to mention the title screen and all the scUM highlights they show. How about some Eddie George or Craig Krenzel? Good, upstanding football players who don't suck humongous donkey balls? Is that too much to ask?!

If they picked Howard because he was a former Heisman Trophy winner and the game is subnamed Race For The Heisman. Wouldn't logic dictate to put the ONLY Two-Time Winner on the cover. That's just my opinion. Sorry for using logic. Even if someone else wins the trophy twice in the future, Archie will always have been the first. As it stands right now, he is the only. Long live Buckey Nation.

how fucking dumb is it to put desmond howard on the cover, Fuck EA, Fuck Michigan
They should have put Charlie Ward, or Gino Torretta, or some other guy who won the Heisman and then went on to do not much (if anything) in the NFL. I bought the game. I don't like the cover. I don't like the title screen. I wish I could download a picture to replace the title screen. I'll print out one of the images I like from the graphics forum sometime.

I had the 2004 version and planned to buy 2006 until I saw the cover. I decided to just buy a used version of 2005.
Congratulations. You wasted your money over a friggin' cover. 2005 is considered by many (including me) to be the worst of the entire franchise. The 2006 version is better in almost every way.

"But it's got a Michigan guy on the..." Shaddup.

How much money could he really have "wasted"? About $10?

Can't you change the screens and fight songs like you could in '04? That Sucks! I LOVE my NCAA 2004 with the #1 ranked Buckeyes!! I am not buying this one!

Anyone who would knowingly pay money for a product with a scUM player on it shouldn't be giving anyone else advice. I'm not so sure you should even be allowed to stay on the island.:wink2:

Hell I've turned down so many golf trips and all expense paid nudie bar extravaganza's to tsun through work that they don't even ask anymore. I simply refuse to ever set foot on thats state's soil. I even took a longer flight to my Grandfathers funeral because the shorter one changed planes in Detroit.

You simply must have a clear set of principles and live by them. Being "ok" with a scUM player on the front of your video game is not the type of thing you should be proud of.
