i dont really like either if them at all, snl used to be a classic with adam sandler, chris farley, phil hartman, etc. but now they've dropped off quite a bit... i dont think mad tv is very funny although i will say that "stuar" act is pretty good... all in all id say snl is still better

SNL is unwatchable since Will Ferrel left.... even then it was bad if he wasn't in it. I gave Mad TV a shot a few years ago but never really got into it.

Right now it's a tie... they both suck.

Five years ago I would have went with Mad TV, but they have gone down hill over the last couple of years.

I think SNL has improved the last two years and the young cast has potential. Of course it is no where near as good as it was in the late 80s and early 90s with Myers, Hartman, Carvey, Lovitz, and Miller; but it is a lot better than the mid 90s to early 00s crap.

Classic SNL is John Belushi, Dan Aykroyd, Chevy Chase. I'll add Bill Murray and Eddie Murphy, although they weren't original cast members.

Yeah, I know I'm old.
