If you're ordered online from BuckeyeCorner.com within the past few months, you may want to keep close tabs on your credit and debit card activity. Many posters on the O-Zone forums have reported fraudulent purchases showing up on cards that have also been used at Buckeye Corner's website. Far too many for it to be a coincidence, it seems.
Buckeye Corner has issued a somewhat vague and useless statement on the O-Zone front page:
It's hard to tell whether they're admitting they're at fault, but reading through the last few days on the O-Zone forums leads me to believe that the problem lies with them. I just wish they'd stop accepting the personal information and credit card numbers of customers until they figure out what's going on.

The-Ozone Announcement: The Buckeye Corner has requested that we make the following announcment.
"We, at The Buckeye Corner, have been made aware of some customers who have seen fraudulent charges on their credit cards after making purchases from our website.
"Since becoming aware of the situation we have been working very closely with our IT consultants, an outside internet security firm and police authorities to determine if our site has been compromised.
"It is the recommendation of the police that any customer, who feels they may have an issue related to purchases made on our website, please contact their issuing bank as well as the local authorities. Any issues or concerns, please feel free to contact us at [email protected] or 1-800-525-5630.
"Several other merchants have had similar issues which appear to come from professional thieves. This is an area of concern for all retailers as well as our own state government who experienced a similar incident last week.
"We value our customers and their privacy and are working diligently to protect both."
