Post 23 Season tOSU Coaching Changes

Your mother. Stop asking that stupid question. This is THE Ohio State we're talking about here They can hire whoever the fuck they want. Money isn't an object. They could hire freaking Bill Bellichik if they wanted.
What, your mom not available? Not a stupid question at all when you are asking an opinion on who a person thinks should be hired in his place. If people are able to say fuck Day, fire Day, I’m allowed to ask if not him, then who? Pretty fucking legit question. I don’t care if TOSU has all the money in the world and can hire Belichek, a simple answer would have been “Bill B” instead of your response that added nothing to this thread.

He talks like Bryce Young was Peyton Manning or Andrew Luck in college. How's that worked for him in the NFL?
Chip is an upgrade, and thrilled to have him.
But BOB got a middle-of-the-road QB the heisman. He's a good OC.
Chip does fit our system better though.
Bryce Young was the top QB in his HS class. Calling him "Middle of the road" is ridiculous

Todd Fitch heading for a lateral role with LSU. I don'f know anything about him, but Stroud credited him with a lot of his development.

May be a big loss.
Big loss?

maybe, but I doubt it

He‘s been here since 2021 and didn’t have his own thread

and Day developed QBs at a high level before 2021

I expect the Buckeyes will be fine

What

That we’re not sufficiently obsessed with the Buckeyes that we start threads on every analyst who is mentioned by a former player?

Guilty

Guilty as hell
I was thinking more that we have no idea what the day to day inner workings of the Buckeye football machine actually are, so the fact that he has no thread is more a reflection of our ignorance than his value to the program. But I like your spin better!

It's kinda like the background noise about Fleming or LJ or BoB even when he was here. We're not going to know everything that gets discussed behind closed doors. Speculation is fun but also meaningless. The problem is when people get so attached to their speculation that they lose perspective of what is actual reality.

One minor thing to observe about this is that, while it is easy to imagine ways in which an analyst might help a player’s progression without being involved in coaching; it seems not only possible, but likely that a dUMb fan who lacks the requisite imagination, will look at this and claim that it is “obvious that Fitch, an analyst, coached Stroud, in violation of the rules…”

might make for an afternoon’s worth of amusement

or not
