Proof that God is not a woman.

If God were a woman, my dick would be on my chin.

Mrs. Katt said if god was a woman, it would be a LOT bigger, too.

I don't know why she would know how big your.....wait a minute.

I refuse to join any denomination that would have Jake as a member.....

....and speaking of members, you look like you've just seen BB73's!

Full disclosure. She and Mrs. Katt both used a magnifying glass.

I posted on Facebook today about finding God. Amazingly, several people bought it. Let's take a look at some of them:

My best man (20+ years ago) and an old girlfriend (wild as hell 15+ years ago) were the first to pounce. I've found that the people who were the biggest sluts, liars, and users of other people in your teens and 20s are the ones who "find God" in their 40s and turn into annoying, condescending religious fucks. Guilt has awesome power. All they did today was confirm it.

Haven't seen either of them since the 90s so their "friend" status was questionable, anyway. How they react when I post "April Fool's!" is of no consequence to me. Hell, they were fucking each other when they were married about 20 years ago - both ending in divorce - so it simply proves I need to pick better friends. Fuck 'em.

Right. Because the possibility that religion has played a part in their no longer being "sluts, liars, and users of other people" for whatever reason (be it divine or philosophical), and that they are better people for having embraced religion - cannot find a place in your mind.

And anyway Jake, looking at it from a purely sterile, secular, sort of societal trait scale, I'd take "annoying and condescending" over "slutty, lying, and using people" every day and twice on Sundays.

(...and not just because of my affinity for annoying and condescending.)

Nope, not with these individuals who I - unlike you - have known since we were teenagers. But don't let that get in the way of taking an opposing point of view of the guy called "Jake" on BuckeyePlanet, something you love to do at every opportunity.

Religion has been a wonderful guilt reliever for centuries, one of the many reasons it survives to this day. After all, it is much easier to have "God" forgive you than it is to actually ask it of the people you have wronged during your "sinful" days of youth.

Thank you for participating in my April Fool's social experiment. Your contributions, while predictable, are appreciated as always.

So you agree the possibility that they are better people for having embraced religion cannot find a place in your mind, but it's because you know them better. OK.

Whoa!! Perhaps you can address that with them in a manner more productive than a fake Facebook religious conversion on April Fool's Day. But then again, if they responded to your sincere dialogue as Christians, and after your pointing out the unresolved hurt they had caused they asked those hurt for forgiveness, it would ruin your gig. Better to trick them.

What you've been witnessing over the past few days posted by the caricature of a raving, rabid, druken lunatic was nothing more than one of many social expiriments to study the solidarity and resiliance of internet communities and their responses to trolls and to educate on dealing with these pests. I've been doing this for years. The purpose is to assess an internet forum's troll resistance. All too many communities are damaged by the presence of trolls. Someone will pretend to have genuine interest in joining the community, while at the same time stirring controversy. This user will post what's known as "flamebait", or deliberately provocative messages in order to disrupt the harmony of the community and redirect the posters from the forum's intended purpose to piling onto the troll.

edit - I moved a few posts here from the April Fool's thread. Having this stuff leak into a frivolous thread like that is tiresome.
