I think if you like Offense, you're gonna hate this game. The winning team may end up with less than 200 yards total. Hell, the winner may end up with less than 150. I'm thinking turnovers and special teams are key (as in a return for a TD being needed)

If, and in my mind it's a big if, the Pittman/Smith backfield is as good as we all hope it is, then I like OSU's chances a lot better. If Indiana was an abberation, it could be a very stressful mid-afternoon.

it doesn't matter who is in the backfield. skill players are irrelivant if you have no o-line. if the o-line plays the way they did against IU it won't matter and we win either way. if they play the way they have the rest of the year.... again with the not mattering only this time we loose.

smith didn't look any different to me than zwick did in his first start. pittman has much better vision than ross. but none of that matters when these guys are getting hit in the backfield on every play.

Well enough wierd shit has happend in sports so far in 2004 I'll go with my"when it looks this bad on paper it never happens" theory.

Meaning, on paper it looks like offensive football as we know it could be set back 200 years in a game between these two teams. So watch a freakin shootout take place. :tongue2:

The realistic side of me still says two shitty offenses but PSU has a better D. I think their losing streak in the Shoe ends today.

tOSU should win at home. Think we beat the spread.

I hope our offense surprises the naysayers and do well against a darned good defense. (Though PSU on the road is not the same as PSU at home).

Also it'll be interesting to see if our D can get Johnson out of the game. Morelli?
