Purdue 38, TSUN 36 (Final)

Boiler up, bitches!! I think the psyche of scUM may be broken after last week. Same thing that happened last year, the team seems to be quitting on DickRod since, you know, they have tire tracks all over their backs from being thrown under the bus all the time.

someone with a lot more time on their hands than me should look and see how teams have done historically (or at least the past few years) in the week after they play Ohio State... rough estimate, they don't do very well

Purdue's a damn mystery. The team that we played was aggressive and looked like a pretty good team. The team that played Wiscy was a mess. Maybe they just "got up" for tOSU. I think they'll be "up" for this one too. scUM, for all their troubles, is still a team that gets circled on schedules. I think Purdue shows up and blows the doors off the scUM defense.

2 minutes into the game and its Purdue 7-0, QB found the RB wheeling out of the backfield off of a play-action fake and no one was even close to him as he ran in for the TD.
to take it a step further, there was no one within 20-25 yards, and they were still 7-10 yds away from him when he entered the endzone.

Tate Forcier just threw the ball right to purdue's LB, werner caught the ball. Roundtree had his hand on the ball (definitely not with possession), as the LB hit the turf, he ripped it out.

Called a catch, reviewed, and confirmed. That looked a whole lot like an INT.

UM dodged a huge break there.

UM's 3rd & long defense continues to be terrible, Valentine breaks a handful of tackles, stumbles for 17 yards.

Purdue attacks downfield, goes deep into double coverage, but like usual, UM's DBs panic and don't play the ball (when a breakup/int was very realistic) and they haul it in.

Purdue drops an easy first down at the 20 yd line. 3rd & 6 from thet 26 coming up.
