QB Cardale '12 Gauge' Jones (B1G Champion, National Champion)

I'm as clueless as anybody here, but this is what I would expect assuming Braxton is healthy. I would expect actually Brax at 1a and JT at 1b and for them both to play. That changes if Cardale goes pro.

The playbook with both Miller and JT are virtually the same, JT just has a better arm.

How crazy would bit be if Jones pulls a Mike Doss and returns for one more.

Braxton has a better arm, JT has better touch and leads his receivers better.

In my opinion I think Jones should cash in right now because he's not guaranteed to start next year. Either way, he's always a Buckeye.

The offense NEVER ran smoothly with Braxton at QB. JT should be the starter and it really isn't close in my opinion. Cardale and JT are both better QBs for this offense than Braxton.
I tend to agree with this. However, I think it's reasonable to expect that Brax could have taken another sizable leap this year after improving each of the previous two seasons. Would he have been as spectacular as JT or Cardale were this year? Who knows, but I don't think so. Each of the three have their own strengths/weaknesses.

Cardale brings the howitzer arm and can make throws that neither can dream of making. He can just plow over defenders for first downs when his receivers are covered on 3rd down. He has shown solid decision making ability against three really good defenses.

JT is a more cerebral QB that has the accuracy and good touch on his deep ball. He's an effective and efficient runner. However, he probably has the weakest arm of the three (if Brax is 100%), and did make some bad throws...which is excusable for a first year starter. Plus, he's been described as a tremendous leader who can rally his team around him.

Braxton's legs are on another level from the other two. He can rip off highlight reel runs at the drop of a hat. Defenses have to account for that more so than the other two, even though the other two are fine runners in their own right. However, his accuracy/touch has been iffy to this point. His deep ball has been the worst of the three. And, he has proven to be injury prone.

Any of the three are capable of leading this team on another NC run, IMO. If Jones was coming back, as I said, he'd be my guy because he's been there. JT would be my second choice, followed by Brax. It's a helluva problem to have.
