QB CJ Stroud (All B1G, 2022 B1G QB of the Year, All-American, NFL OROY, Houston Texans)

He’s healthy. Once the shoulder issues stopped, this dude controlled his passes and balled.

I had so much trust every time he dropped back to pass tonight. He was gonna find someone (#11 mainly) and put everything on the money. In love with his passing.
Off-season the biggest thing he needs to work on is. Throwing when being forced to scramble. Fields was so good at that it's an impossibly high standard but if anything is a weakness in his game right now it's that

I don't probably have anything to add after what has been said, but what an absolute work of art from CJ. This is why the Heisman should go out after the bowls, there could be no argument after that game imo. It is kind of unreal how much development happens between the end of the year and a bowl game. The rest of college football better be concerned that Stroud and JSN are going to be back next year. Love it.

In fully expect a Joe Burreaux/2019 type season next year. He's that good.
First 13 games of CJ 2021 vs JB 2019
4435 yds 44 td 6 int
4715 yds 48 td 6 int

Of course, he had another 956 yds and 12 tds in the playoffs, plus 2 more rushing
Trey Lance is only a rookie...
and if it doesn't click in year 2, they're not trying it a 3rd year.

Even more amazing when you look at how old each was in those years and that Burrow had an extra year of starting in 2018. CJ has just improved so dramatically that its unreal. Can't wait to see if he can reach 5000 next year with the extra games and lead the Buckeyes back to the Natty

Honestly, he pretty much had one this season.
He certainly wasn't far off and that included missing a game and a couple others dealing with a bum shoulder. It was truly a remarkable season and he did it as a RS Freshman.

Day deserves some criticism for some things, but no one can deny he has done unbelievable work with the QBs. It's a goddamned assembly line right now.
