I was curious about this so I did some research . Here is what I found :

He should’ve been the guy from game 1. It was a toss up as it was, Devin is far more fiery, Devin is younger so his growth would’ve been greater, and he’s quite a bit more mobile than McCord.

Maybe Devin doesn’t win the ND game as he’s growing but I have no doubt he would have done as well or better than McCord in the end.

Many people said Devin out performed Kyle. Just that there were concerns that naming Devin the starter would push Kyle out the door.

Then it happened anyways lol… it’s too bad Devin didn’t get much of a shot this year. Here’s hoping he makes it count this game and doesn’t look back.

Same thing happened in Normandy. The transports dropped the soldiers off at the beach and left. There was only one way off that beach.
