QB Dwayne Haskins Jr. (All B1G, B1G OPOY, Silver Football, Rose Bowl MVP, R.I.P.)

It could be that he doesn't want to decommit publicly from his hometown school until closer to Signing Day.
I think the point was that although it seems clear he's not going to Maryland at this point, Florida and LSU are possible landing spots as well- an official decommitment from Maryland doesn't gaurentee he is a Buckeye- although we hope that will ultimately be the case.

Will be interesting to see if he really visits LSU. He is related to Kevin Tolliver so that is a concern but let's see if he actually shows up there for a visit. If he does, then they can be considered a real threat. If not, I expect him to be in the Buckeye class sooner rather than later. I'm not buying the Florida talk, at all.

With LSU's offense? Yeah he's smarter than that.... Their best QB was jamarcus Russell or Matt Flynn.

If he's talking about getting to the playoffs he's coming here IMO.
Don't sleep on LSU, you bring up Matt Flynn yet he won an NC(something since Krenzel and then Cardale, OSU couldn't do, and those aren't 2 world beaters either). LSU always has a very good/great defense and skill position players and can be competitive with an average QB which Haskins isn't. There's a lot to offer at LSU as there is at OSU

Flynn didn't carry their team... it was downhill with Hester that hurt us that game. LSU sure has plenty to offer but they lack the system to utilize someone like Haskins. They will always be a pro set offense that relies on pounding the ball with people like Fournette, Hill, Hester, and others.

Krenzel and Cardale didn't carry our teams either! If it wasn't for Maurice and Zeke we would be without an NC! Haskins is good enough to run a pro set, spread or zone read and he's rated as a top 10 PRO style QB! LSU plays the style that suits its talent and they haven't had a very good QB in a while but have had great RBs and WRs that's why they have to pound the ball. A coach would be an idiot to spread the ball out with Fournette at RB! Both OSU and LSU offer the chance to play early and be surrounded by a lot of talent
