QB Dwayne Haskins Jr. (All B1G, B1G OPOY, Silver Football, Rose Bowl MVP, R.I.P.)

Over Trace???? Hmmm that's not right

Eh....that's a gift. I'd have given it to McSorley.
like the Heisman... how you perform doesn’t matter as much as what your team does... its basically best offensive player on a winning team

edit: completely agree McSorley was the Offensive player of the week...

Dwayne Haskins -- 2nd Half vs TCU

Comp_____ATT_____Yards_____TD_____INT_____Pass Efficiency
__8_______10______148_______2______0________
270.32

I believe the phrase you're looking for is "Holy Crap"

Dwayne Haskins -- After TCU took an 8-point lead (2-score, 2nd half lead):

Comp_____ATT_____Yards_____TD_____INT_____Pass Efficiency
__7_______8_______145_______2______0________322.25

Don't bother looking for a phrase to describe that. The English language doesn't have one.

Dwayne Haskins -- 2nd Half vs PSU

Comp_____ATT_____Yards_____TD_____INT_____Pass Efficiency
_16_______24______223_______2______0________172.22

Dwayne Haskins -- After PSU took a 2-Score, 2nd Half Lead:

Comp_____ATT_____Yards_____TD_____INT_____Pass Efficiency
__7_______9_______148_______2______0________289.24

Dwayne Haskins -- Season
: After Opponent Takes 2-Score, 2nd Half Lead:

Comp_____ATT_____Yards_____TD_____INT_____Pass Efficiency

__14______17______293_______4______0________304.78 (vs PSU and TCU defenses)

Morale of the Story: Don't take a 2-Score lead against Ohio State in the 2nd Half or something

EDIT: Sorry for the formatting bugs. Did my best to clean it up without spending all day on it.

Even with his tough first half at Slappy Valley, he's still #5 in the country in passing efficiency with a rating of 188.8. he also has the second most TD passes in the country with 19, trailing only Cole McDonald of Hawaii who has 24 (note that Hawaii has played one more game so far because they get to play 13 regular season games and started earlier this season).

DWAYNE HASKINS' HEISMAN, OHIO STATE'S TITLE ODDS FALL AFTER WIN OVER PENN STATE

97154_h.jpg

After struggling much of the first half against Penn State before ultimately pulling out the comeback win in the second half, Haskins' odds fell to 15/4. He now has the third-best odds behind Tagovailoa's 10/11 and Oklahoma's Kyler Murray's 7/2.

I'd have gone with Co-Offensive players, they both put on quite a show.
wtf is wrong with you scooters?

If it angers PSU fans and gives them more fodder for their delusional conspiracy theories then I am all for Haskins being the player of the week.
this guy gets it

Dwayne's numbers are ridiculous after the opposing team takes a 2-score 2nd half lead, and they're certainly indicative of Dwayne staying cool and continuing to execute under those conditions, but in my opinion, the main reason for those numbers has far more to do with two other factors than with Dwayne: 1) coaching adjustments, and 2) his teammates made zero or very few mistakes under those conditions. As a couple of us have said before, it would be more accurate if I changed the headings of those stats to say "The OSU Passing Game" instead of "Dwayne Haskins". Don't get me wrong; I'm a huge fan of the kid and think his Heisman odds should have gone UP after that clutch performance. But his coaches and his teammates get as much of the credit as he does for the way this team does whatever is necessary to get a W, even when they've been making mistakes all night.
