QB J.T. Barrett (B1G FOY, All American, Silver Football Award, 3x B1G QBOY, National Champion)

This seems like some reactionary "we need to get people who beat Michigan" nonsense.

Now if this was to replace Fleming.....now I'm listening.
It's not that man,
JT is a legit QB coach. He's the Asst QB Coach in Detroit. And Goff is balling this year! Being a former Buckeye who went undefeated in The Game is the cherry on top.
And it's been rumored that if OSU doesn't pursue he's set to follow the OC to his next team as QB coach if he gets a HC gig. Why not bring him home

Need some former players to infuse some attitude in this program. JL and JT would be awesome

When I saw Birm bring it up, that is a piece of it, but not the entire statement.
He added:
1) Having a QB Coach that played the position
2) JT is gaining great experience with Detroit and may even have an impact in the results going on there.
3) Having played in The Game.
I don’t doubt JT is a solid coach and all the points Birm raises are legit, but something seems to be right between Day and Dennis based on Fields and Stroud (I’m still in the McCord camp).

The key thing I’m reminded of is Birm ultimately needs listeners/viewers/clicks to survive. Him saying everything is good in the program is not good for his business.

But back to JT. If he had some OC experience along with being QB coach I would be driving to Detroit to bring him back to Cbus. However, I have a feeling he will be staying in the NFL path.

I understand what you're (and others) saying @BuckBackHome
The last thing I'll state with regards to what Birm has shared his opinion on is this:
From Birm's POV, Dennis works more with the QB room with a focus on the back-ups, and believes that Day spends more time with the starter. I don't know if that's correct or not. Just adding a little bit more context to some of what was said.
