QB J.T. Barrett (B1G FOY, All American, Silver Football Award, 3x B1G QBOY, National Champion)

To illustrate how thoroughly dominant the offense has been under JT the last few games, JT lead the first 10 drives of the Maryland game, and in the 6th through 10th drives, they went TD, TD, TD, missed 29-yard FG, TD. Combined with his leading the offense to TDs in all 8 of his drives against Nebraska, JT has lead the offense to TDs on 12 of the last 13 drives. I'd say that's pretty damn impressive...

The problems, which included missing wide open receivers 10 yds away and an inability to complete a pass 20 yds downfield were not there in year 1. They were probably the fault of his injury, O line play, and coaching. How much is Beck's fault we don't know but we will see how unBecked he is against Penn State.

There has been some great coaching against the soft part of the schedule. He team has overcome many of the problems against Oklahoma. It looks like the NC contender we expected. You gotta love this kid and believe they still have a chance to accomplish theur goals, but it will help if the fans take it one game at a time.

Just a reminder that Zach Tenure was the bonehead that mountain-goat-head-butted an Army player on the field. After he did that I seriously thought he'd never see the field again this year. Glad to see he was set straight...I can only imagine what Urban did to him during practice the following week.

JT had a great game at Nebraska but the Huskers deserve some credit for playing absolutely atrocious defense. Rushing three and leaving receivers uncovered, they gave JT plenty of time to find open targets. Mike Riley's decision to switch to the 3-4 defense has been disastrous for them. I was watching the replay yesterday and there was one shot from behind JT where you could see three Nebraska defenders downfield standing still while OSU's receivers were running free.

Yeah I would have sworn urban said "take his uniform" or something similar to Coombs after that play.
