Maybe if you have any hope of getting him to stay. Throw him out there and tell him it will be an open competition next year.

Agreed. I wouldn’t play him either in he game if I am UGA. I think they know he is more than halfway out the door. So you still keep him in uniform in case Fromm goes down with injury, which is exactly what UGA did.

With the hiring of Yurcich plus Day as HC, I see this as a golden opportunity for Fields if he comes to Columbus. Haskins is sure to be moving on, should be able to thrive in this kind of offense with the skill players available. Dobbins and Teague should be a solid duo in the backfield. Hope to see him come in and have some really good competition between Baldwin and Martell. I think Tate transfers the moment Fields comes in if it happens but if so then so be it. I want competitors.
