I remember they were spreading rumors about his work ethic (was never questioned once at Ohio State) and his intelligence (he was the only one of the five that had offers from Harvard and Yale out of high school).

I get it for a QB if there are genuine character, psychological or intelligence (hello,Vince Young) issues at play. In Fields' case that was clearly not the issue, and it was pretty evident that this was a smear campaign coming out of the other qb camps (probably not Barbie since he was going 1st no matter what), but definitely those of the Mormon and the dui jackass from Bama.

I'm not an NFL fan, but I'm all in on the theBears and Justin Fields, and I will root earnestly for the abject failure of those who slandered him.

I don't really follow the Bears, but I had a RB and 2 WR's on my keeper fantasy team last year so I think there is some talent on the roster. Between that and Mensa Fields has a chance to have a pretty good year. As a tOSU fan I don't remember seeing a QB that checks off the boxes like JF. I just hope they don't try to turn him into Lamar 2.0. He's too good of a passer to focus on his running. Use the speed to PA the shit out of the defense and give JF less to read early in his career.

Happy Justin Fields Day, everyone. In Chicago this is shaping up as a bigger day than St. Patrick's Day and General Pulaski Day rolled into one.



........and Andy Dalton trots out for the opening series. Stadium is going to fucking explode when JF trots out.
