Play where he got flipped over his head. Either landed on his helmet or a Wildcat got a shot in but I remember that play too. He was messing with his leg pads but definitely off-balance looking at the sideline.

This has been a horrible season. The major developmental issue for Fields is decision-making under pressure - he holds the ball too long and trusts his feet to get him out of trouble when it is not appropriate. A full normal season would have given him the chance to explore that and work on it, but three lost games and the loss of trusted teammates to COVID-19 chilled that opportunity entirely. It is never easy to work so very hard for a goal and then to see it slipping away when life conspires against you. The Heisman slipped further away yesterday. If he's a first-round choice, he will be a fool to stay, so I hope he just forgets about goals and just goes out there to have fun as he finishes his college career. If he does, the rest will follow.

I'm not entirely sure if it's not progressing through his reads quickly because he's "slow" with them, or it's that he's made his decision most of the time pre-snap and is just watching and waiting for an opportunity to open up. With how often he's caught staring and not moving defenders, I'm more inclined towards he's just locked onto a decision and is going there unless he absolutely can't, which results in him appearing "slow" with his reads and decision making.

Yes, that's the one. His head bounced off the ground. Having played thru HS and having a few concussions myself, I'm almost positive he had at least a minor concussion. Was kind of surprised the announcers did not pick up on his body language after getting up. I was actually real worried for him at that point in the game.

Fields accuracy clearly changed after the thumb injury early in the game. He was on target the first drive. The int in the endzone was a phenomenal play by the defender and a TD or incompletion if the ball is thrown just a couple of inches farther.

Well a couple of times against Alabama and put Wade back on the field, give the bucks the scoop and score they rightfully earned and I think the case can be made that Clemson got their ass handed to them by the bucks last year.

Take away all those things and have Olave run the route they way he does 99.5% of the time and I'm guessing the Bucks win that way too.

All that being said, this is not the 2019 Buckeye team, but ACC football is not on a par with Big Ten. Put Penix back on the field with the rest of that Indiana team and they could have finished no worse than second to Clemson.

Oh I don't question we were the best team last year. Not just Clemson but everyone. We literally threw that game away last year vs Clemson. Even with all the calls against us we also went like 2 quarters straight without scoring which we just can't do.
