What we all seem to forget is that we lost a record amount of talent to the NFL this year. Plus the fact that we only start 3 seniors and we were over ranked being in the top ten this year. I hate to see the buckeyes lose, but what really kills me is all of the mental mistakes.

Well its my first post here...

All I can say is...Everyone loves the backup qb...til hes the starter...


I hate losing just as everybody else here, but we may have gotten a little spoiled over the last few years....Wisconsin is a good team that has had our number lately.....

I will always support Tressel in his choices and take the good with the bad..

Yep it is going to be a long year...But I think JT knows what he is doing and it will all come together. Everyone is on Zwicks case and I agree he had a poor game. But gee whiz at least he didn't fumble the ball like Holmes and Hall. I dont hear anyone yelling to replace them.

I think there are two schools of thought when somebody is not playing well. When MJ had an off-game, the solution was to "shoot his way out of the slump.......stick with it until it comes back". Of course...that was Jordan....this is a Sophomore QB who has shown potential to be "good".

The other option is to pull them. Fans seem to prefer this one (particularly in hindsight because they are pissed about the results....and had the Coach done something differently, the results obviously would have been better).

I trust in Coach Tressel. I believe that he wants to do what is best for the team. I don't know what goes on in the practices and meetings, so I can't say that Smith should play over Zwick. But, personally...I believe that when a player is not getting the job done, and you have already tried sticking with him...maybe it is time to see if somebody new can get something started.

He gets it every week. It's called practice. Someone please give me an argument why Smith would do better based on something other than wishful thinking and heresay.

The learning process for a new QB can be incredibly painful. I don't want to do it twice. I don't want to start over with Troy Smith because we don't have the imagination to realize that yes, it could be worse.

Are we all so new at watching CFB that we can't recall a rookie QB who was awful, but went on to lead his team to championships in later years?

Whoever saw an O-Line that was getting it done today saw a different game than I did.

Yes, Zwick was horrid today. Just horrid. But he is our QB. That's JTs decision - not Justin's. So let's get behind him, chant his name, and pick the kid back up.

And whatever your opinion - and you are certainly entitled to whatever opinion you choose - if you want to stand in the Shoe and boo him you can go screw yourself.

the coaching flat out fucking blows for any quarterback....ive said until im blue in my face that farve would suck under tressel....

two....smith has major off the field issues and practice/studying issues that prevent him from being on the field...

third....who is smith's best friend....santonio....who has flat out sucked since smith stopped playing....i mean ridiculously sucked....santonio makes rambo look good right now...

fuck off ant....personally i fucking despise your pathetic trouble making ass....you piece of shit....

hey....i was raised in a house where the f word was completely normal....and where people knew their positions based on dialogue...

i know alot of people dont like it on here....but, hey....you know where i stand....

CK has been his only full project and he was at 130.71 which is good for #4 all-time at OSU.

SB had the most productive season of his career(a relative term to be sure) in his one year under Tress.

Not sure what JZ's is currently but his stat line is something like 52% comp for just under 200 ypg with 5TD's and 5 Int's.

Today was just absolutely brutal to watch, reminded me very much of UCLA 2001.

I guess it's "agree with dihard or fu** you", right. I don't accept the low standard of play so I'm wrong I guess. If you like losing then go join the indiana fan club. Because when players make us lose with weak play, I expect a change.

P.S. I hate message board tough guy's who say stuff on line that they would never say to your face. If we were face to face you would pee on your self and lick it up before speaking to me like that. Stop hiding behind your keyboard !

And this is not a threat, but I will bet you $1,000 that if we meet tommorrow afternoon, you would be much more polite when speaking to me. So take the bet, give me the respect I give you, or just stop replying to my posts alltogether.
