Questions Looking for Answers

Just a fan wondering about the state of Ohio State football and hoping to get answers to some season ending questions from posters who may be in a better position to know:

1. I think we've beat the Joe Bauserman starting QB issue into the ground, but I wonder why early on and especially at Nebraska, Kenny Guiton was never given so much as a snap. If Braxton had been injured in the Michigan game, would Bauserman have been the QB? Is Guiton that far behind Bauserman?

2. Depending on the answer to #1, who would the Bucks go to in a bowl game? Anybody else being recruited to back up Brax if the staff has no faith in Kenny? I don't like the idea of going into a season with one QB, especially if that 1 plays as hard as Brax does.

3. What's in the depth/pipeline at Linebacker and DBs. Asking Shazier to play while limping spoke volumes about injuries and depth.

4. I came away at the end of the season thinking that the overall size, skill and depth of this Buckeye team was way down from previous years. Losing the Tat group, especially Terrell, certainly hurt the team considerably, but this didn't look like a typical "re-load" year and I'm thinking the last two recruiting classes have been down in talent. Is that thought justified, or just my reaction to a disappointing season?
