RB Antonio Pittman (Official Thread)

I've noticed that outside of our OL and Troy, nobody on our offense is getting any respect. Seems like all these media folks care about is pure stats, and we have far too many weapons for them to hype. I like it though, the lack of respect should keep us focused on the task at hand.
May I also say that it's laughable to find Clausen on that list... last I checked, Sharpley had the inside track for the job in 2007?
Or how about Brennan and Slaton topping the list. I think McFadden and Hart have to be the early favorites.
Did mention that CFN always seems to be slanted?
I think both should be higher than they are

True, but how many all-american lists have a Buckeye outside of a (often seemingly random) OL player and TS? CFN is definitely on the far end of the spectrum, but there's no doubt the media is ignoring some great players here.

The positive is that this means our team will be in Cbus, and they'll be focused -- as opposed to running around doing the banquet circuit.
And, just maybe the fact that Pittman isn't on any of these All-American squads will give him a reason to reconsider his options at Ohio State and stick around.

How the FUCK is Clausen on the list? That is more ridiculous than putting Booty on the list this year.

24. Jimmy Clausen, QB Notre Dame
Pencil in here whoever the Irish starting quarterback will be. It might not be Clausen

So, just by being the quarterback at ND means you are an instant Heisman candidate? That's seriously one of the funniest things ive heard all week.

With all of these freshman/sophomores on the list, I'm surprised that they don't have Chris Wells on there as a candidate.

That definitely isnt the case, cause Troy wouldnt be leading the Heisman this year........

Midway through the season a lot of people were thinking BQ or Brennan were better QBs because Troy's stats weren't anything spectacular. ESPN was begging for the chance to put Quinn back on their podium. However, 300 yards against ttun blew that argument out of the water.

seems logical to me, in the last 30 or so years thats the way its been... the fact hes in the twenties shows that its essentially a non factor come next dec
