RB Antonio Pittman (Official Thread)

Listening to the radio recently alot of scouts feel Pittman is no worse than the 4th best back in this draft behind Peterson, Lynch and Bush (and only if Bush is healthy). And one scout felt if Pittman does well in the combine he may go as early as late in the 1st round if the right team fell in love with him.

I said it last year with Donte Whitner... Pittman is going to go higher than people think and do very well in the NFL.

The guy from Ourlad's Scouting was on the radio yesterday and said Pittman could be the second best of the bunch. He said he didn't like Lynch as much as others and said Pitt could sneak into the first.

dont forget tony hunt, guy runs with a lot of passion and toughness, speed might hurt him, but hes a very tough runner and hes right there with pittman behind peterson, lynch and bush.

He really impressed me in PSU's bowl game with the way he ran with toughness and carried the ball over and over and over.

With that said, I think that Pitt is every bit as tough, and definitely has the national exposure, as being part of the #1 team during the regular season, and will probably be drafted higher than Hunt.

Why is pitt only #5 ? I know he will better in the NFL than Hunt.

I wouldn't sell Tony Hunt short. I know most of us on here would prefer Pitt, because of how great he has been for tOSU the last few years and how good of a player he is, but Hunt is definitely a very tough runner, and a workhorse.

I see the both of them being very successful in the NFL.

True, Hunt is a nice back.

But, I don't understand him putting Brian Leonard over Pitt.

Exactly, Pitt and Hunt have a lot in common, but workhorses and always fighting for extra yards. Both will be key factors in a few years on their NFL teams.
