RB Chris "Beanie" Wells (All B1G, All-American)

I would gladly pack and ship the Heisman to Tim Tebow myself for the 2nd straight year if it meant a better outcome for tOSU in the bowl game. Archie's distinction is sweet as hell, but it won't last forever, and that's also cool.

The last 2 Heisman winners who donned the S&G lost their bowl games. Personally, I would love to think that Eddie & Troy would both trade the trophy for the loss, but I can't be sure about that. What I can be sure about is that I would personally rather see Tebow take home his second Heisman while Beanie hoisted the Crystal Football next January.

Agreed. While I don't believe in a "Heisman Curse," I do believe it is the grandest distraction in all of sports and also a freaking magnet for opposing defenses to release their rage upon. I know Beanie wants it badly, but I'd rather some QB from the Big 12 or SEC get it and get pwned during bowl season.

I think the timing of it is horrible and should be held after the bowls. All these award shows have these kids going all over and can not really enjoy it. Which defeats the reason for the awards. I will say that know that JT has been through it a lesson was learned with T Smith that would not be repeated by others that WILL follow.

Nice video, that stiff arm is absolutely rediculous! His speed for a big man is amazing as well! He will put up big numbers this year and I think he can bring it home. Maybe if he sticks around for another year he can win another...?

i've thought about what makes Beanie so good a lot; it has to be more than just his combination of speed and power, and one thing i've noticed time and time again in these highlight videos is how incredible his lateral movement is. for a guy checking in at around 235 pounds, the quickness of his feet moving from side to side is unreal. i think it's a huge part of why he's so hard to bring down, because not only is he a runaway freight train from hell, but he's almost impossible to get a square hit on.

In a word- VISION.

Superb freaking vision. Its been said numerous times already also, but his stiff arms are legendary. I've never seen a better stiff arm at any level. He's one of a kind and I am going to miss him terribly when he is gone. Relish each carry and savor the days he wears the Scarlet and Gray. We've been truly blessed this past decade with our athletes and Beanie is at the top of the list with the others.

Great job on the video. I loved it and the music was perfect.

Stiff Arm

Wicked Stiff Arm!!!!!, that's a heisman pose every time he does it...excited for a big year from Beanie, regardless of this award or not, he's going to be a nightmare for defenses all year, and for years to come in the NFL...forget the haters, he'll have the last laugh...
