Just for some easier access for people...

On my own thought, this guy is big, fast strong, and most importantly he wants to be a Buckeye and is a Buckeye at heart. You can't ask for much more than that... Chris Wells will do some great things in the Scarlet and Gray

Except that you're forgetting what has happened to his team recently, they've lost 4 out of the last 6, and only won 1 out of the last 4 under carr.

The bucks have a NC, two bcs wins, a 3-1 record vs. UM and in bowl games, and are primed for another NC next year. It's not hard to put this all together. Plus he'll get to play against Texas, then against USC x2.

He also mentioned the depth chart in the Rivals interview. Michigan has a great starting RB, and brought in a big back in this year's class. Therefore, he thought there was a better opportunity at OSU.

plus I remember him saying during Michigan week and after, that he was rooting for Ohio State...so obviously he was starting to like the Buckeyes more and more...I don't really by that he was a Michigan lean that much..He might of been a fan at one time, but I think he was leaning more torwards Ohio State..which is pretty evident from him commiting this early, you don't commit that early if you're a lean to another school.

He reminds me of Eddie George... with how long and tall he is.... Also his weight is around Eddie's also.. Same type of strideswhen he runs and everything. I just hope he can be like eddie! which I have no doubt he can! I grew up in the Akron area so I've definatly heard alot about him since he was a freshman. Very excited Chris is aboard.

I hope u old schoolers don't get on me for saying this but, to me he has an
O.J. running style and a stride that resembles Erick Dickerson mose so than eddie and also I notice that while he can punish his defenders by bowling over them he has really quick footwork for his size so I think that alone will give him long jevity in the game of football.
I will make this claim tonight and go out on a limb and say that he could go down in history as being one of the greatest buckeye runningbacks ever, and dare I say maybe thee best maybe not but the potential is sure there.

Marv beat me to it. Eric Dickerson with a better stiff arm. His strides aren't as smooth as Dickersons, a little choppier, but still long and fluid. That stiff arm is Csonka'esque! Gotta love the future at tOSU!!!

Do you guys know what would be nice?
If someone here knew how to design websites, reason being is because If Chris Wells ends up being a top 10 player by the time they put out their top 100's on rivals and scout.com, I think he should have his own web site for being such a big time recruit that did what he felt was right in his heart and became the first buckeye to commit to the class of 2006.
we could keep track of his senior season stats and have exclusive things on the site, maybe have a Chris Wells play of the week or something to that nature.
anyone on here have any other I deas?
