RB Michael Weber (New Jersey Generals)

Not worried here as of now. He may visit AA but it sounds like are chances he will not. RB is not a huge need for UM right now anyways.

Not so much 'need' that would be motivation for UM to get Weber back, but perception. Hard to let arguably the top player in the state, who was previously committed to your school, go to your rival.

I would imagine that hiring Vince Marrow will probably hurt UK's class because it opens the door for UM to flip several UK commits from the state of Ohio.

So then it's a not so quite period but a " a loud period and I'm allowed to contact people I can't even legally contact because I'm not technically the coach yet" period? Got it.

Those are the rules. As a coach of basketball players who were recruited I have to know these things.

A coach is allowed to make a phone call right now. No need to shoot the messenger.

Every time I see an ohio kid go to Kentucky I die a little inside.

Led all rushers in the US Army AA Game with 48 yds on 10 carries and had the best performance of any of the RBs in the game. Ran like a Buckeye today. Unafraid of contact. Between his highlights and his game film today, he looks like a complete back. Urban's gonna love this kid.

Detroit (Mich.) Cass Tech Top100 running back Michael Weber stuck to his guns all week about being a solid commit to Ohio State when asked about the recent hiring of Jim Harbaugh to Michigan, but it’s only a matter of time before the former Wolverines pledges talks with the new coach and all developments will be closely followed. Urban Meyer got Weber on the phone this past week to make sure the big-time back was still a strong commit.
