RB Michael Weber (New Jersey Generals)

FWIW I'm of the opinion that if Weber - not his idiot coaches, not his parents and not all the other morons around him - wants out of his LOI, let him out.

Ohio State will be just fine without him. There are plenty of kids out there that will WANT to be here.

And I'm confident that's what Urban will do. It's not a coincidence that yesterday Urban said he spoke to Mike, and that Wilcher whined that he (Wilcher) had not yet spoken to Urban--Urban is wisely focusing on the person (Mike) whose decision it is to make, and cutting out of the process Wilcher, who has been biased through the process and, if yesterday's ridiculous radio show appearance is any indication, is more worried about Thomas Wilcher (not to mention his alma mater and former teammate) than he is about Mike Weber.

Weber is going to have a great career here. I can't wait to watch it develop. I have no idea what was said, has been said or what will be said, nor is it any of my business. This kid runs like an absolute beast...cant imagine what he'll be in the OSU offense.

More on Detroit Butt Hurt:

"Running back Michael Weber was on the phone with Ohio State coach Urban Meyer and running backs coach Stan Drayton late into the night before Signing Day, torn between which team he should sign with - the Buckeyes or Michigan.

Weber stuck with his Ohio State commitment, then found out hours later that Drayton - who would have been his position coach in Columbus - was leaving the school for the NFL's Chicago Bears."

Weber was obviously upset, and he wasn't alone. Weber's coach at Cass Tech, Thomas Wilcher, told cleveland.com he felt misled by Meyer and the Buckeyes. He also said he hasn't spoken with Meyer since Drayton's departure, but Meyer and Drayton indicated they have spoken with Weber.

It appears Meyer and the Buckeyes have a few fences to mend at Cass Tech. "Maybe he is saying, 'I did my job, I am out, I am gone.' Maybe that's how he feels," Wilcher told cleveland.com.

"I don't know how he feels. We haven't talked, we haven't talked at all. We are going to see each other in a few weeks. I'll wait until then."

And then there's this perspective: http://www.cleveland.com/osu/index.ssf/2013/11/cass_tech_is_to_michigan_as_gl.html

Followed by more trash talk from Cass Tech's coach:

I guess decades of poaching in Ohio for your best players is fair game, but poaching in Michigan is dirty pool. Hmmmmm.

Kudos, Mrs. Weber!

:oh:

:io: won't leave you hanging.
@Hstead , it seems the Cass Tech coach is blatantly making up reports from the family. I was wondering the entire time, this is the fan base that put this kid on a pedestal when he committed then tore him down when he decommitted then tore him down more when he committed to OSU. Now after the situation with Drayton everyone expects him and his family to forget all of the hurtful remarks and fall in love with scUM again. How delusional and smug. And to top it off Harbaugh says he only wants Weber as his RB then goes after another RB, talk about loyalty. But then tweets about Urban being deceitful.

Seems like someone suggested a few days ago for Mike to hang tight he may end up with a new coach he likes better than Drayton and to focus on getting on the field amongst stiff competition of the rest of the stable?
