RB Sam Williams-Dixon (Official Thread)

At Elder's "The Pit" , playing Pickerington North.
You can tell who SWD is. Here's some notes about him from someone whos not a scout, just a dude who appreciates talented football players.

Outside of maybe 2 plays in the 1st half, SWD was nonexistent. But the 1 play, he took a screen that should've been a loss, and turned it into 20+yds breaking multiple tackles. The 2nd play, the QB lost the football while trying to throw, he was hit at the same time(it was 2nd and 10). SWD picked up the ball 5yds behind the LOS, and runs it within 1yd of the 1st down marker. And the stadium went wild!
He's definitely put in some weight, and looks closer to 210.

And then the 2nd half happens and Pick North is on the ropes, and like that in the 4th quarter SWD has 2 runs for 80+yes! The 1st one is a beautiful dive up the middle where he broke multiple tackles, almost loses his balance, regains it and goes to the house. The 2nd one, I had phone in hand to take a video, with Pick North down 32-35, SWD takes the ball on a sweep left, breaks one tackle, and turns on the jets and takes the ball 20+yes to the house!
He looked quite good, I thought the move in competition would stiffle him(and honestly so did many Pick North fans). He shares the backfield with 2 speedsters, and has a coach that isn't the best at play calling. A lot calculated bubble screens, to where the fans started to be able to call out the plays. All in all, what went from me saying that I didn't think he was OSU material, and then in 2 plays he put his team on his back to win the game in hostile territory.

From Letterman Row’s Matt Parker:

”I am told that Sam Williams-Dixon more likely than not will have his senior season cut short because of transfer rules. The three-star Pickerington North running back did not play in last Friday's game. He transferred this past spring to Pick. North from West Holmes H.S. in Millersburg, Ohio, which is about 91 miles northeast of Columbus.

Williams-Dixon is still attending practice and doing everything he can to help his team, which is undefeated through seven weeks of the high school season. He will be an early enrollee at Ohio State once he signs his Letter of Intent.”
Weird rule to enact mid season.

Not to go off subject, but I think something similar is happening/happened to the QB at one of the Massillon schools. I saw a headline a few weeks ago about it, but have not seen anything since.

Back on subject, any word on how SWD was looking before?
Splitting carries with 2 other RBs, so is having quite the up and down season. I saw him in game 1 @ Elder, and he had 2car to end the game with 101yds and 2TDs. But then other games he barely sees the field. The coach likes running screens, and stretch plays a lot, so it was pretty predictable.
