Considering I didn't even know TC was on our roster until the Toledo game, pretty encouraging to know he's there in case the RB room gets banged up. I know it was one run, but he looks like he can play if needed. He at the very least earned himself some PT in games where the lead gets large.

How common is it for walk ons to get meaningful PT, even if there are injuries in front of them? Would the team rather use a scholarship player and switch positions or play that PWO player?

With Pryor out for the year, and taking a red shirt last year, there is some separation between him and Tre. If there’s no more injuries this year I could see them trying to keep Hayden’s red shirt if TC is as advertised. IIRC, he only had PWO opportunities and chose tOSU. Big miss on the recruiting front by a lot of schools if that’s the case.

But was that big miss only by MAC level schools? I'm trying to be Debbie Downer, more like a Realistic Rita, and is he actually good enough to be a Buckeye level RB in B1G play, or a nice story and play made against a MAC team? Not questioning his talent, I'm just asking from an honest admission of ignorance
